Worth Wedding- A modern day Romeo & Juliet

If we were still in medieval times, Kelsey and Mo would be what we all know as Romeo and Juliet. They got married on Saturday August 5th in their small home town in Windsor, Vermont. Although rainy through out some of the day it started out with a series of beautiful events. I started out by meeting Kelsey and Mo and their families at the Old Constitution House right on Main St in Windsor. The beautiful gardens and greenery made for the perfect place to start their pictures. There is also Kelsey and Mo's favorite mountain in the backdrop, Mt. Ascutney, that sadly was fogged over to start, But not one drop of rain was going to stop everyone from enjoying the day.

After the portraits were taken we moved on to the Old South Church where Kelsey and Mo joined hands in marriage surrounded by God and all their loved ones. You don't even have to know these two for more then a day to see how much joy and love they share together and how loved they are by all.

One of the most exciting parts of the day for the bride was to ring the church bell after saying "I Do". The bell rope had been broken for some time but for this big day the rope had generously been repaired. Family and friends watched as Kelsey and Mo joyfully made the church bells of Windsor sing.

After the ceremony was over we all moved to the American legion where there was a beautiful medieval themed reception awaiting. Great food was provided by Maple Street catering, there was music that brought me back to childhood days as well as learning some great new songs, and certainly some of the most fun people I have had the pleasure of being around.

Right before the night ended Kelsey, Mo and I snuck away for one more photo. The sky cleared up, the sun was setting and finally Mt. Ascutney was visible for the background. It was the perfect ending to a fairytale day.
