I first met Kelley and Hunter a few years back when Kelley and I worked together. Kelley always spoke of this amazing boyfriend she had and when I finally got to meet that boyfriend, it all made sense. Kelley and Hunter compliment each other perfectly and not even knowing their relationship well it was clear to see that they were made to be. Soon after meeting them they took a trip to Italy, and soon after that we all got the news that they were engaged!
Kelley and Hunter ended up moving to Boise, Idaho for a job Kelley had received but planned to have their wedding right here in Cambridge, Vermont with the views of Mount Mansfield in the background. This gorgeous scenery is where Hunter calls home and they had friends and family coming from as far as California to watch them say "I do". Their wedding took place at The Barn at Smugglers Notch and it could not have been more beautiful
My day started at the Smugglers Notch Resort where I met up with the boys just to grab a couple snap shots. It's always important to get their point of view on the day. They were getting dressed with style with their sunglasses and watching youtube videos on how to fold the handkerchief. Thank god for smartphones!
Back at the barn Kelley and her bridesmaids were looking gorgeous after getting their hair done by Lisa at Essence Salon and only had one final step, getting their dresses on. I remember the day Kelley picked out her wedding dress. It was from Fiori Bridal and she knew almost instantly it was the one. It complimented her perfectly and now the time had come for her to finally wear it!
The ceremony took place in the afternoon on a perfect summer day surrounded by the beauty of Mount Mansfield. There was a lot of laughter, a lot of tears of joy and a lot of love. To add to the special occasion, Kelley and Hunter's officiants were Kelley's two brothers. They did really good and should probably take up being a officiant as a side job.
The official Mr & Mrs. Gomez!!
The wedding party snuck off for some pictures and then the party started! Everything was amazing. The flower arrangements all over the barn done by Karen Sweeney from Flowerpots and Tabletops were stunning, the food catered by Jack Foley from my favorite restaurant 158 Main was delicous as always and of course you can't forget the sweets. The cupcakes traveled all the way from Massachusetts made by Cakes by Amanda and Kelley's Aunt Cathy made the cake. I love how everyone comes together to make these special occasions so perfect.
